Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography’s Terms and Conditions Agreement for Portrait Photography Sessions:
We have read, understood and agree with the following conditions:
We agree to make payment as per the Creative Session Fee guidelines, which will confirm our booking for a portrait photography session.
We agree to pay the remaining balance prior to/ or on the day of the photography shoot.
We understand that the standard turn around for processed images and digital gallery is 2-3 working weeks. This may occasionally be extended due to seasonal demand.
We agree that any children under 18 years of age, will be under our (Parent/ Guardian) constant supervision during the shoot and that we are responsible for them at all times.
In the event that the client needs to reschedule the date, Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography requires 24 hours notice. Mini session fees are transferable to another family but not refundable or transferable to another date. Package Session Fee are transferable to another date within the following 12-month period. In the event of changes to the studio price list, prints and product pricing and availability for sessions will apply as at the newly booked date.
Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography may reschedule the session if weather conditions will hinder the shoot (such as heavy rain). All attempts will be made to avoid this, however sometimes it is in the client’s best interest to postpone to another date with better conditions.
We give permission to Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography to use any images taken during our session, for any form of advertising including web-based promotions, brochures and general advertising.
We understand that full usage and reprinting of images is permitted upon full payment to Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography.
We agree that all images supplied cannot be used for any commercial purpose and are strictly for personal use only.
Use of Images and Copyright
The client agrees that Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography owns the Copyright in all photographs. The client gives permission to Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography to use any image of the session for industry competitions and as required subsequent usage and for reasonable general promotional advertising for the Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography. The usage for any other purpose (such as use on social media sites) can be negotiated and noted on the Portrait Release form.
As Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography owns the Copyright, when purchasing printed products, the client agrees not to copy, cause to be copied or allow anyone else to copy, photocopy, laser copy or computer scan any images. If clients purchase digital negatives, clients are granted authorization to obtain unlimited reprints for personal use only. The photographs provided within the digital gallery may not be sold, edited, altered (other then resizing for print) or used for any commercial purpose under any circumstances, without written permission. The client will use the photographs and negatives as agreed above and understand that by not doing so is a breach of this agreement.
Watermarked low resolution images may be provided on social media sites and Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography blog for the clients to share with friends and family. The client is welcome to tag themselves and share these images; however altering the image in any way, including cropping out the Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography watermark is a direct breach of Copyright.
All purchased images will remain on file for 1 year. Due to file storage limitations, unpurchased images will be deleted on 31 December each year at the discretion of Feather Touch Lifestyle Photography. Ordering further prints and products is available until that date each year.
